The tradition surrounding Newport Knights Baseball is second to none. In an effort to take it one step further, we are organizing the First Annual Alumni Game and Golf Tournament. The tentative date for the event is Aug-Sept 2009.New Baseball Field Under Construction
The alumni game will take place on the new baseball field (pdf). After all is said and done, the ballpark will have a Field Turf™ infield, new outfield grass, pressbox with sound system and seating for 200-300 fans. At this time, we are putting out feelers to see how many alumni are interested in attending such an event.
